The Health Ombudsman then varied the immediate registration action by removing the conditions and suspending Dr Olajide Olusesan Ogunseye’s registration, effective 3 April 2023.
The suspension of registration means that Dr Olajide Olusesan Ogunseye is prohibited from practising as a medical practitioner for the duration of the suspension.

Period of action or order
In accordance with section 62(2) of the Health Ombudsman Act 2013 (the Act), the decision will continue to have effect until the earlier of the following happens –
Pursuant to section 107(4)(b)(i) of the Health Ombudsman Act 2013 (Qld), the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal decided that the practitioner is prohibited from is prohibited from providing any health service for a period of 9 years.
Pursuant to section 113(4)(a) of the Health Ombudsman Act 2013 (Qld), the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal decided that the practitioner is prohibited from providing any health service.
