Landowners and occupiers (grantors)

Welcome to our website area for our landowners and occupiers - our 'grantors'. Whether you are a new or existing grantor, or you own or occupy land close to our electricity apparatus, you should find everything you need to know within this section.

This web page is for our National Grid Electricity Transmission (NGET) landowners and occupiers – also known as grantors – that is if you have towers (pylons), overhead lines, or underground cables running across or in your land.

We're committed to maintaining successful working relationships with our grantors, and our regional land officers are your day-to-day point of contact for any queries.

You can also get in touch with our Grantor Relations Team if you have any questions about electricity equipment, maintenance or refurbishment plans in your area, or need information about payments.
